Note from the founder & CEO
Finding the career that you are meant for is a journey. This has been the absolute truth for me. Instructional design was not what I set out to do, it found me, and I can say with confidence that I love what I do.
My journey began during my undergraduate experience at The University of Mary Washington. As an adult student with ten years’ experience in the workforce, my goal at the time was to teach middle school history. That all changed when I enrolled in a Digital History course. This course was a truly blended and flipped classroom. My professor leveraged instructional technology and resources to engage students online and face-to-face. This brought history to life in a new and exciting way. I knew then that I must pursue my Masters degree in Instructional Design.
Seven years later as an Instructional Designer I strive to unite the latest proven technology and methodology with curriculum and course design.
I leverage my extensive knowledge and training of learning theory to develop meaningful classroom, online, and workplace education that is fun, interactive, and informative. By utilizing several delivery mediums and models, I help shape, design, and coach instructors from conceptualization through training delivery.
